Convenient to both downtown Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, Deep Creek is located on the north side of the Peace River. The central location allows residents to take full advantage of shopping and restaurants on both sides of the river.

In addition, Deep Creek is nearby two I-75 exits. These exits make for easy daytripping to Sarasota, Fort Myers, or Venice.

Deep Creek is a deed restricted community with scenic lakes and public tennis courts. The same group that developed Punta Gorda Isles and Burnt Store Isles originated Deep Creek as well.

In the past 5-10 years, this area of Charlotte County has experienced enormous growth, including both residential expansion inside of Deep Creek and commercial development outside of the community.

Homebuyers looking in this area will find a variety of homes to choose from. Many older homes in Deep Creek date back to the 1980s, but there was also a surge of homes built in the 2000s.

Along with varying ages and architectural styles, you’ll find a range of prices from $80,000-$350,000. Most commonly, you’ll find homes in the $100-$200,000 range. Lot prices start at around $10,000. For a lake view, that price jumps to around $40,000.
