Situated just north of Burnt Store Marina is Burnt Store Lakes, a deed restricted community with a Property Owners Association. In the past few years, “The Lakes” has seen enormous growth. True to its name, Burnt Store Lakes boasts 11 scenic lakes scattered throughout the community. Nature lovers delight in sharing their neighborhood with bald eagles, herons, sandhill cranes, blue herons, and egrets. Common grounds, such as the Lowell Thompson Memorial Park, encourage residents to take advantage of the natural beauty all around them.

Boaters who live in the area enjoy the close proximity to Burnt Store Marina. Most homes are less than a five-minute drive to the Marina, which offers direct access to the Gulf.
